Diversified Health & Fitness, Inc., chaired by fitness industry pioneer Roger Wittenberns announced today that it has acquired Fit Zone for Women International, Inc.
After the acquisition, Diversified’s franchise portfolio will consist of approximately 144 clubs in thirty states and two countries with over 500 active licenses to build new clubs. Diversified currently operates offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Florianopolis, Brazil.
Diversified acquired the assets of Fit Zone in a part cash, part stock deal. The assets purchased included the contractual rights and franchisor obligations to 25 women’s fitness and health clubs located primarily in the Midwest.

Diversified Health and Fitness, Inc. is a franchise holding company for multiple fitness franchise concepts. The company was founded in 2007 and is the brainchild of thirty-five year industry expert Roger Wittenberns.
