Diversified Health & Fitness, Inc., chaired by fitness-industry-pioneer Roger Wittenberns announced today that it has acquired World Wide Fitness, LLC, a Wyoming based franchisor of health clubs in the United States, Canada, and Ireland.

The acquisition includes two health club chains: “The Blitz” and “Ultimate Woman.” It will increase Diversified’s portfolio by approximately 20 clubs and give the company exposure to two flourishing international markets.

Diversified Chief Executive Officer, Roger Wittenberns, said “this acquisition cements our international foothold and will be a catalyst for franchise sales in Canada and Europe.”
